Phetchaburi, a city in central Thailand, is a must-visit destination for food lovers. It has been recognized as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, and it's easy to see why. The local cuisine is bursting with unique flavours and ingredients that you won't find anywhere else.
One of the best ways to experience the local cuisine is by taking part in the various food-related activities available for guests. You will taste traditional dishes like khao chae (rice soaked in jasmine-scented water) or khanom mo kaeng (steamed cakes made from rice flour and coconut milk). Or, you can take a food tour of the city and sample all of the delicious treats that Phetchaburi has to offer.

A car for 4 people can be arranged to pick you up from your hotel to the KaengKraChan in Petchaburi at 15K from HuaHin/Petchaburi City
You can, again, use Line TD/Wechat ID to book the Weekend Tour 3 days in advance. Please also discuss the number of people in a minimum of 2-10 people as a couple/group. The price includes a half-day tour of the Petchaburi and Ban Lat districts but does not include transportation from Bangkok to Petchaburi
- 10 am: Meet at Petchaburi Train Station, where you'll begin the food and arts tour on wheels
- 10.15 - 12 pm: Tham Luang Cave and temple visit
- 12 - 1.30 pm: Enjoy a gastronomy city tour where you'll taste signature dishes reflecting Phetchaburi's cultural roots, including Thai noodles with red sauce Petchaburi style, Kao Chea (rice in jasmine, cold water with royal condiments in the old days at the street art), and pandanus cendol with palm sugar fudge.
- 1.30 - 2 pm: Drive to the 100 years' best PhadThai shop, royal Thai food in TaYang on Weekdays/ Chamjuree Riverside Market on weekends, and the villages' food in the countryside alongside the Petchaburi river.
- 2 - 3 pm: Enjoy tasting very local, old traditional food of Petchaburi
- 3 - 4 pm: Visit KaengKraChan Dam and the National Park, taste the local coffee along the
reservoir
- 4.30 pm: Arrive back at Petchaburi Train Station.
